Dear Parents,
I am writing to let you know that today, Governor Jay Inslee has decided to close all public and private schools through April 24th. We have been working and developing plans that will support your student(s) while we are in this mandatory break period.
We will have school on Monday, March 16th, which will allow us to send materials home with your student so that they can be prepared for the closure. Our teachers are reaching out to you to see the best way to contact your student and provide work for them during this time.
Staff will be supporting student learning and provide feedback for students/parents in a timely manner as we will be working through this closure.
All households have different technology capacities and so it will be important for us to know what capacity your home has so we can provide learning materials to you. We are developing a variety of methods of delivering materials to you (packets and emails) to monitor learning over this time period.
I know that this is a difficult time but I want you to know that our staff is working diligently to develop a cohesive plan that provides us all with services that support every student and family. I know that there will be a variety of questions regarding this closure we are all working through. If you have questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact me via email at
